That during certain sports activities, the feet endure up to 20 times the body weight? Hence, it's unsurprising that around 25 percent of sports-related injuries involve the foot or ankle. Virtually all sports and activities heighten the risk of foot and ankle injuries, including basketball, baseball, dance, cheerleading, soccer, track and field races, weight lifting, and wrestling.
